My sons have decided on the monikers in which they will post here and are excited to begin sharing their Scouting experiences.
They are formulating their first posts now and hope to have something posted in the near future.

I’m not much of a “Blogger” I do it for personal reasons, not because I want to share everything in my life with the world. I feel as though I’m simply writing my personal history. The only difference being that it’s completely public now and not once I’m dead and gone.
I’ve certainly never intended to setup blog after blog after blog and maintain them all. In the last few months I’ve realized though that I have a once in a lifetime opportunity happening in my life and it’s happening right now.
Over the last few years I’ve been getting more and more involved with the Boy Scouts of America. As a youth I wasn’t heavily involved and didn’t really understand the mission of Scouting. As as adult I’ve begun to understand it more and more and see the absolute need for it to be more prevalent in the lives of Young Men (and in the case of Venturing, in the lives of Young Women).
I have two such young men in my own home. They are growing quickly and are both heavily involved in Scouting. What I realized was that their experiences and thoughts could be a positive force in the lives of others.
So I’ve setup this site so that they can share their thoughts, experiences, desires, and goals in regards to their Scouting experiences. We’ll see how it goes. I don’t anticipate that this site will be updated as regularly as the main site, because I’m going to leave it up to the Young Men to author the posts.
As they are my sons, and this is the Internet, their names will not be posted, I will be heavily monitoring what they post and will take any measure to keep them as safe as possible. If you happen to be reading this and you know my family in real life and know the names, ages, etc. of my sons, if you could keep them private I’d greatly appreciate it.
I will not however be telling them what to post. All of the thoughts, feeling, etc. here will be their own. I will however be requiring them to not divulge names, planned activities and such. I will also be contributing from time to time.
I’m hoping that this proves useful, but we shall see. If the site is taken down at any point you will know that it wasn’t found to be useful. If the site does prove to be useful we may expand the number of contributors to the site.
We’ll just have to see how things go.
